I’m not quite sure how I got so busy lately, but boy have I been busy. Just this last week, I was working on some book promotions, helping update a website and blog, worked on my blogs, several newsletters, rearranged an office, put together furniture, prepped for a sale this week at Mary’s Choice, worked on my day off at my day job, have been beta reading the beginning chapters of one novel and two full novels, worked on some graphics and a few other things. So yup, I’ve been busy.
Path of Angels is going through some changes to make the story stronger. Hoping that will be done by the end of this month. I used to hate editing, but I’m starting to find it not so bad. It’s like sculpting. You get your basic shape cut out and then you start adding in the details and refining that shape. Thankfully, writing is more like sculpting in clay rather than marble. With clay, if you mess up an arm, you just reshape it and begin again. Marble isn’t so forgiving.
Relic Hunter is going slowly. I’ve gotten about 4K written, which is a lot for me. Especially considering my schedule. I have to work out a few plot details.
The One Page Podcast will be back this week with a section from Murphy’s Law of Vampires by Declan Finn on Thursday and hopefully another review on Friday (assuming I get time to read before then).
I also have some exciting news! Next Sunday evening at 7:00 pm, I and several other authors will be discussing YA fiction on the Catholic Geek radio show. Be sure to tune in.
That’s all for now. Back to work.
