Right now, I am working on so many different things that I’m not sure I know which way is up.
In the next couple of days I have a grant proposal to finish and several book covers to work on for clients in between my normal job and a teachers meeting tomorrow evening. There is nothing quite like a little stress to spice things up.
Things are progressing on the writing front, although slowly. I have been taking on more cover assignments and design work which leaves little time left for actually writing. But, hey, it pays.
St. Lucian’s Star
Several months ago I pulled St. Lucian’s Star to make some changes to the story and submit it to Analog. It doesn’t appear that Analog is going to accept it, although they haven’t said so yet. After having another author read it, it seems I have a few more changes to make before I re-release it, this time as a novella rather than a short story.
St. Sasha’s Locket
Since the updates to St. Lucian’s Star, I’ve had to go back and make updates to St. Sasha’s Locket to match up with the new details. It will be out shortly after St. Lucian’s Star…hopefully
Path of Angels
Plan is to finish this over Labor Day Weekend and get to beta readers so they can rip it apart before I make final edits. Then it’s off to the publisher, so I can get told, once again, that I was “this close.” If they don’t take it then I will publish it through Createspace. Look for a new cover if that happens.
Court of Darkness (working title)
This project is still way in it’s beginning stages. I have lots of research to do and groundwork to lay before this gets moving.
There are several other projects in the works, but they on way on the back burner.
Tonight, I’m going to bed early so that I can be awake enough to do all of these things. Wish me luck.
